Kaitlyn, Herbert Hoover Class of 2019!
Chasity and I headed down into Kanawha State Forest for her senior session. Love the way these turned out, especially the colors in her creek photos!
Bramwell is such a perfect spot for senior sessions. Between the historic buildings, the railway station, and the brick-lined streets, you never run out of great photo locations. We were even able to walk down into the creek for some of our shots!
Brooke is a close family friend so of course I was excited to take her senior photos! We did some of them in the kitchen, since she’s aspiring to do something in the culinary field (she’s a hugely talented baker!), some outdoors with a bookish theme because she’s a big reader, and some at Bramwell’s train station because she loves to travel. :)
Colten is a senior at Herbert Hoover High School, and if you couldn’t tell from these shots, he’s quite the athlete. Football, baseball, wrestling… he stays busy for sure! The high school may be closed because of this year’s flooding, but the field at least is still being used for games. A little bit of normalcy in a year where the high-schoolers are splitting their days at Elkview Middle School. I was glad we could at least get some good shots to hopefully help him remember the positive parts of his senior year. :)
I’ve been doing photos of Claire and Lorelai for years now, so I was excited when she asked me to take some quick celebratory shots right before her high school graduation. Lorelai had to get in on the action, of course, so we captured some really cute memories of this big event. Congrats to Claire!
Prom photos are a lot of fun — all that glamour and excitement! Kiersten and Alex wanted a mini-session at the capitol, and even though it rained on us and we had to hide under the columns, we got some nice shots and didn’t get too soaked. :)
Our schedules didn’t work out for the Fall senior photos Caitlin wanted, but when she messaged me about some Spring ones, I was happy that I’d get to work with her after all! She’s graduating in just a few weeks from Sherman High School, so we got these done just in time. :)
I’ve known Alicia for a while now — a few years back, we did a lolita photoshoot in this same location! She’s graduating from culinary school next month and wanted to do a graduation shoot to celebrate. :) Here are a few samples!
Shelby is a senior at George Washington High School! The capitol grounds are an ever-popular location for senior photos, so we started out there and made our way to the park afterwards. Sooooo cold that day, but always worth it!
