I’m vaccinated and back at it, after a 441 day hiatus!
May 8th will be Black Fae Day, a celebration of Black representation in fantasy and fiction. My friend Alicia (of Kiss A Frog Cosplay) put together this stunning Viceroy butterfly ensemble, and I was more than happy to trek down to a local creek with her and get shooting! They turned out just as magical as we’d hoped, and I dunno about you, but I’m SO excited to see all the other photos that will be shared on the 8th! Take a peek at a few faves!
Bubble-bath time for this serious little 6-month-old! There’s nothing better than playing in the water in the summer!
These guys were a pleasure to work with! Little Ella (who was just about to turn one!) and her big bro Reed are truly precious!
Marcy’s family is always such a joy to photograph! Her kids are hilarious and sweet, and you never know what kind of cute shots you’ll get with them. :) I never expected the chicken, for example!
What an afternoon; it was full of snuggling puppies at the park and taking some pretty Fall senior photos. Love the autumnal color palette she went with — it really pops!
Bramwell is such a perfect spot for senior sessions. Between the historic buildings, the railway station, and the brick-lined streets, you never run out of great photo locations. We were even able to walk down into the creek for some of our shots!
I LOVE this family! They’re the sweetest folks you’ll ever meet, and little Norah is just the cutest! That smile! We took lots of pictures in their seriously impressive garden. They had so many delicious things growing, and you can see Norah enjoying some of it in several pictures!
Brooke is a close family friend so of course I was excited to take her senior photos! We did some of them in the kitchen, since she’s aspiring to do something in the culinary field (she’s a hugely talented baker!), some outdoors with a bookish theme because she’s a big reader, and some at Bramwell’s train station because she loves to travel. :)
I’ve done several sessions with Alex and Ian now, including their fantastic wedding a few years back. I was so excited to get the news that they’re expecting their first baby, a little girl, in August!
I had done a few shoots with the Meddings family before, when little miss Juliana was smaller, but this shoot was for their newest addition, baby Theodore. :) Isn’t he a dollbaby? I especially love the shots I got of these two sweethearts together.
