I’ve never done a sweet 16 session before, but I’m already craving another! McKenzie wanted a sunset session in a field, along with some couples shots with her boyfriend, and I think they turned out gorgeous. We were lucky that this evening was one of the best sunsets I’ve seen in a long time; so many colors!
Bramwell is such a perfect spot for senior sessions. Between the historic buildings, the railway station, and the brick-lined streets, you never run out of great photo locations. We were even able to walk down into the creek for some of our shots!
We did a quick half-hour shoot at the Capitol on an unseasonably (wonderfully!) warm day to get a few family shots. Isaac and Ingrid, the twins, have grown so much since the craziness of their newborn photos!
Not too long ago, I was doing Kayla’s maternity photos for her second baby. Now that sweet baby Kennedy has arrived, the Lowes needed some fresh photos to show off their new family of four! :)
These two were expecting their first child, a little boy, in just a few weeks, and brought along some family for their evening maternity session at University of Charleston!
Another perfect autumn shoot with a sweet family! :)
These guys will be getting married sometime next year, and wanted engagement pictures done before Katie returned to Marshall University this fall. They were such a sweet couple and I really enjoyed their session, even though we got chased and hissed at by creepy ducks during shooting! Haha!
Tanna was 34 weeks pregnant with twin girls when we had our shoot. We were lucky enough to catch the last bits of snow and get some pretty shots to celebrate her soon-to-arrive babies!
Tina is such a gorgeous mommy! And there’s nothing better than a simple white dress for classic maternity shots. :)
Here are some of my potential submissions to Wonderful West Virginia Magazine’s “Day in the Life” photo competition.
