I love seeing how much my smallest subjects change between photo sessions. Seems like they’ve grown a foot every time I see them! This was the last session I had in 2020 before the pandemic hit, so I remember it fondly.
Someone’s excited to be a big sister! What a sweet session this was! We used the always-lovely Wine Cellar Park in Dunbar as our location, which gave these pics some rustic, late-Autumn charm.
I always love doing photos for my family! Over the holidays, my aunt Tami asked if I’d be able to take some updated family shots for her, since their family has grown quite a bit in the last few years. It’s not often that their whole family is together; my cousin Daniel and his fiancee Lyn lived in China for several years and are now in California, Isaac’s family lives in North Carolina, Bethany and her hubby live in Ohio, and Moriah is in school at WVU. I know how much it meant to them to finally have group photos taken! :)
This shoot was a breeze thanks to happy little Theodore! He was so easy! Gotta love his little outfits and sweet smiles. :)
I did engagement and wedding photography for Morgan and Chad several years ago, so I was excited to meet their new little guy, Dawson, around his first birthday! We decided to take dressy shots at their church, and oh my gosh. His little suit! It’s just too much! :)
Oh, adorable little Annabelle! I always look forward to taking her photos! She’s already turning one, and since it was around Valentine’s Day, we threw in a little extra pink and red for good measure. :) Look at those little chompers — too cute!
This was such a cold (but fun!) shoot! Our original plan to take family photos at a Christmas tree farm fell through, so we met at the Capitol to use its big tree instead. They turned out adorable!
Okay, can I even begin to say how cute these girls are?! I just love this family! I’ve been working with Tanna since back when we were BOTH pregnant, and it’s been so special to see the twins growing and changing, especially since they’re so close in age to my own daughter. I’m sure you can tell by the pictures just how much personality these sweeties have!
The weather prevented us from doing Marshall’s 3-month followup session on time, so I ended up getting his Valentine’s shots at exactly 4 months old instead. What a difference that short time makes! He has such an expressive, adorable face. :)
Heather and Kristina are two good friends of mine who just happen to be amazing cosplayers. :) You may remember them from other shoots I’ve done: Heather’s Highschool of the Dead and Taokaka and their joint Borderlands cosplay. They asked if I could get some photos of their latest work, Umi and Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth, so OF COURSE I had to!
